This past Friday night Scott and I got to have a little date night. First we went to Iggy's for a delicious dinner and when we came out the sky was black like a hurricane was coming. We had tickets to go see drag racing at RMR and thought they might cancel it but drove there anyway to make sure. Just as we got there the clouds drifted away and the sun came out! They had to dry the track obviously (it looked like a river at this point) but that was actually pretty entertaining to watch. It turned out to be a great night there was a record set 284 mph in 4.8 seconds (the jeep could go 25 mph in 4.8 seconds) and we got to see a diesel with a jet engine strapped to the back (way cool)!
On Sunday we drove up to Evanston to pick up fireworks for our annual 4th party! We decided while we were up there to go see the horse races at Wyoming Downs. Marli had fun watching all the people, horses, and seagulls. I had fun betting on the horses but unfortunately not winning anything.
I forgot the camera like usual so if you only like books for the pictures then I'm sorry. :)
