We had another successful 4th of July party! This year the 4th landed on Sunday and here in Utah the state celebrates it the day before so they aren't living in sin or something. :) Anyway we decided to do ours on Saturday too since I was not sure if people had Monday off work (we tend to get a little rowdy). The boys (Scott, my brothers, and any other pyros) really did a great job setting off the fireworks. Plus they still have all their limbs, and no cops decided to join us. I think it may have been the best show yet! Even Marli enjoyed watching them. Which really surprised me since she doesn't like to stay up late, loud noises, or fire. She was clapping and saying "fireworks loudy".
I was thinking this year since I wouldn't be joining in on the drinking part of the celebration that maybe I would remember to take some pictures. Nope still forgetful. I took three pictures the whole night and they are pretty crappy ones at that. So instead here is a picture of Marli on her very first 4th celebration.
Thanks to all our great friends and family for making it another great year. I can't wait for next year!
