After only two and a half hours of labor our littlest girl is here and she even waited until after Christmas! Miss Sydney Shae weighed 8 pounds 8 ounces and was 20 inches long. I know that is a good size baby but can't quite figure out where her chub is. She definitely has chicken legs like her momma. I think it's all in her double chin! Everything went perfect. Once she was ready she came out running! The doctor said that if he had left for the day he would not have made it back for the delivery, but luckily he was there to catch her.
She got to take her first "bath" with big sister. I think she liked it!
It's funny how much I have forgotten about having a newborn in the house (like how much they poop!) but it's all coming back to me!
So far Marli has been such a good big sister. She is always bringing Sydney her baby doll and actually wants to hold her (I didn't think she would be interested).
We are so glad to have two beautiful daughters and start our new crazy life!
