Kindergartner in the making.

Can I vent for a bit? April has been a tough month and it's usually one of my favorites. With the flowers blooming and warmer weather on it's way but this year I think April is giving me an ulcer (too dramatic!?!).  Don't worry it's getting better...AND there was one super good thing that happened this month our lovely girl turned FIVE!

On her actual birthday she got to take treats to school,  open presents from us, and any sent from out of town relatives (Thanks so much!). Then we went to a movie and dinner. I'm thinking what a great day but later she told me it wasn't a very fun day (ha ha)! I think it's because Scott and I both had to do work for a few hours in the afternoon, totally boring.

Saturday we had a little party for her. Which she said she loved, so maybe we are forgiven for the lame birthday :)

5 Things we are loving about Marli right now...

1. She adds on to the pictures in coloring books (drawing swim shorts on Georgey, bows on all the heads, or hats). It is seriously too cute and just shows how great her imagination is.

2. Such a good big sister. She really tries her hardest to be patient with a somewhat stubborn little one that likes to follow her around all the time. She will say things like "Syd you're the best baby ever".

3. She is truly concerned about people's feelings and wants everyone to feel accepted.

4. I know I've said this before (sorry bragging momma) but man is she SMART and so so artistic!

5. She truly is getting braver. Like jumped in the pool with just a floaty and swam all over brave.

Marli Jade you are such an awesome daughter and person. Hope that you will forever know this! You make us so proud.
