I haven't felt like blogging, can you tell? Summer has been HOT, humid (for Utah standards), and way fun, but as usual went by way too fast. Here is what happened!
(Sorry this might be a long post AND I promise to learn how to take some decent pictures one day!)
Way back in June Marli had her dance recital and I never put it on here! She did such a great job and we were crazy proud of her. I will post her dance video later. For now here are a few pictures.
We went on our annual Bear Lake trip and I wish more pictures were taken, but oh well.
It was fun and exhausting. Sleeping in a tent and no naps make a certain two year old quite grumpy, but luckily it wasn't until the last day we were there that her horns grew!
I did a 5K with some friends that all proceeds go to families with a child fighting a life threatening disease. This year we walked for a little girl (the one in the stripes) that has been battling a brain tumor on and off for the last couple of years. Brain tumor is already one of my least favorite words because of my dad, but pair it up in the same sentence as child and it really makes my heart hurt. I hope to do this event each year now.

We hung out with friends on the 24th of July (Utah Pioneer Day) and set off fireworks. The little boy that has his arm around Marli is her future husband (at least that's what she says). They totally love each other and while it's pretty cute right now we might have to move far away from him when they become teenagers. :)
Sydney was so brave and did a sparkler...something Marli still will not try to this day.
We have been playing on a kick ball league since the end of July and other than worrying about a babysitter each week it's been a blast. Unfortunately Scott's not in this picture...he was out of town.
To date we have only won one game but obviously don't care!
We've had lots of Momma Days with these awesome girls (missing a couple of them here though). Basically a play date but it definitely benefits us mom's more then the kids. Love these ladies!
I swear it rained more then usual this summer and the girls played in it every chance they could.
Other than the occasional movie, playing at the park, and constant nagging (I totally understand the mom's that kind of just want school to start) this kind of sums it up.
Next up...the beginning of Kindergarten!!!
