It's a boy!

We decided to adopt a little boy for Scott since there is entirely too much estrogen in our house!

Meet Bubba!

He is a lab/mutt of sorts who is about ten months old and so far he's been such a good boy.

First Marli cried when I told her we were getting a puppy because she thought he would chew up all her toys. Until we convinced her that she would just have to be better about picking stuff up (score!). Then she asked "can we change his name?". Which I kind of agreed but it fits him. 

Zoe pretends to be an old lady who has no interest in her new friend but we know deep down she loves him.

Side note that has absolutely nothing to do with dogs...

You may have noticed that Syd has tired eyes in most of her pictures on her b-day post. Well it's because she does! She has been boycotting sleep on and off for the last...forever it seems like. She wakes up at least 3 to 4 times a night and fights us to go back to sleep...we are all kind of exhausted. I'm thinking this is pretty normal behavior and we just really lucked out with how good Marli has always been? Hopefully she grows out of it soon because me and Scott are ready to be checked into the mental hospital. :)

Any advice out there (besides benadryl)?!
