I know this is old news but Birthday's are kind of a big deal so it needs to be on here! Every year I think (okay, talk to my self) that I'm going to skip the big friend party for the year and start just doing one every other year, but then it get's closer to her b-day and she's so excited that I cave. This year Marli picked a Despicable party, and I was pretty bad at taking pictures (as usual) but here are a few from her party and actual birthday!
Six thing's we are loving about Marli right now.
- She always loves her own thing. Example...while all the other kid's in her class are obsessing over Frozen she's like "yeah it was okay, I guess". No caving to peer pressure.
- Other than the occasional eye rolling, she has such a good/positive attitude about life.
- She sees beauty in EVERYTHING and pretty much cries if we even squish a bug.
- Her favorite thing in the whole world right now is Gru (from Despicable). Why? Because he decided to be a good guy, and makes her laugh...hope she always looks for qualities like that in people.
- When she lost her first tooth she cried happy tears. :)
- Still SO smart and artistic! (Hope I can add this to her list, always).
