Summa' time!

I'm finally going to up-date this little blog of ours! 

Because Marli is in year round school our Summer was short (like not even an entire month long, short). Here is our Summer wrap up...

*Note this is a long post...hope you've used the bathroom and had a bite to eat!

Both the girlies did so great at their dance recitals.

 Scotty's folks came for a visit and this (and two others very similar) were the only pictures I took.

The day after Marli's last day of Kindergarten we cut 10 inches off of her hair and she donated it to Kidz with Wigz. We were so proud of her.

Scott worked on a "special secret project" all Summer so instead of our annual 4th party me and the girls went down to visit my parents. It was HOT down South so we just found water as much as possible!

Here is some complete randomness...

You can't have Summer without Kickball (we won 3 games this season!) or Momma day dates. Even us adults need friends!

I took Marli to an amusement park and she was SO brave! She even rode a few of the roller coasters...now I feel like we can make the trip to Disney Land.

We didn't get the track we wanted so school started at the end of July for Marli. It was okay though, at least she got in the same class as our buddy Vance. She is doing awesome so far too!

About a week after school started we flew out (first time flying for Syd!) to visit Scott's parents. We had to deliver the "special secret project". Wish I had taken more/better pictures of this. Just too excited I guess!

 

 

Syd started her "official" first day of pre-school and is doing so great! 

Scotty and I celebrated our 10th anniversary...TEN YEARS!

We were lucky enough to go on a mini vacation to Vegas for a couple of days. We even got to lounge at the pool. It was glorious!
